This is my second completed illustration using only Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to learn the gradient mesh tool, so I jumped in with both feet on this one. This is based on a photograph I took of my wife (wearing goggles I picked up here: http://www.chrononautmercantile.com/).

I’m nearly 30 now, and I never really got around to making a “before I’m 30” list, let alone doing anything on it. I have done some of the things I would have put on such a list - like getting married, owning a home, getting a dog, and going back to school - but not everything.
Rather than hap hazard my way through another decade, I’m putting together a “before I’m 40” list. I’m trying to keep it big but attainable.
Here’s what I have so far:
Run at least a half marathon.
Go on a photo safari in Africa.
Visit Europe (any part, though I’m especially interested in Ireland, Chartre France, Florence Italy, and Greece and Rome).
Take a cross country road trip.
Get something I’ve drawn, written, or photographed, published or produced (preferably a lot, and often).
I know I’ll have more to add as time goes on.
Any suggestions?
